Cecchetti Method of Ballet
The Cecchetti Method of classical ballet training offers a completely balanced and analyzed system of theory, control, strength and execution. Cecchetti-trained dancers can prepare to advance from the very first class to the professional theatrical level performer.
Cecchetti training is a rigorous method that pays careful attention to the scientific laws of anatomy. It develops all of the qualities essential to the dancer: balance, poise, strength, elevation, elasticity, “balloon,” etc. It is classic in its purity and clear-cut style.
SiSu® Dance Academy is a proud member of the Cecchetti Council of America. All instructors who teach the Cecchetti Method for Classical Ballet classes have obtained their teacher's certification.
A well-rounded dancer begins and ends with ballet. SiSu® Dance Academy’s primary focus is classical ballet training with the main method being Cecchetti. It's never too late to become a member of the SiSu® family.
